Dr. Arturia Melson-Silimon is an incoming Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech. Her research focuses on the experiences of marginalized employees navigating workplace stigma, exploring mechanisms such as code-switching, identity shifting, and identity management. She earned her PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia, where she was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow from 2020-2024.
